Dr. Yeo Khee Quan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. He is also a Visiting Consultant at the Singapore General Hospital.

He received his MBBS (1970) and Master of Medicine (Surgery)(1974) from the University of Singapore, Master of Surgery (Orthopedics)(1976) from the University of Liverpool, and Master of Sports Medicine (2003) from the University of New South Wales. Dr. Yeo also has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (1993) and a Master of Law from the National University of Singapore (1999). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh)(1974).

Dr. Yeo is a Medical Advisor to the Ministry of Health in Orthopaedic Surgery, a member of the Complaints Committee of the Singapore Medical Council and is on the Panel of Specialists to the Singapore Judiciary.

He is the author of a book entitled “Medico-Legal Responsibility in Singapore” (2000) and is the primary author of “Essentials of Medical Law” (2004). Dr. Yeo is also author and co-author of numerous scientific papers, journals in international journals and medico-legal publications.  He has also delivered conference papers in international conferences, congresses, scientific meetings, seminars, public talks and lectures.   

Dr. Yeo has a special interest in Sports Injuries, Sports arthroscopy (knee, shoulder, ankle, wrist, spine and cartilage resurfacing), Spine (prolapsed disc and spinal fusions with a special interest in keyhole surgery for removal of slipped disc under local anesthesia), Joint Replacements (knee, hip, shoulder, elbow with a special interest in the use of computer aided navigation in mini-incisions for total knee replacement), Hand (with a special interest in minimal access carpal tunnel release under local anesthesia as a clinic procedure using the KnifeliteÒ), Trauma (minimal access techniques for fracture managements) and Medico-Legal Interests (impairment and disability assessment).
