Dr. Ronald Ng is a Consultant (Haematology) at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. He was previously a Senior Lecturer in Haematology at the University College Hospital Medical School, London, and the University of Hong Kong. In addition, he has been a Senior Research Fellow at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA.

He received his MBBS from the University of Hong Kong (1969) and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK)(1974). Dr. Ng is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh)(1983), the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (1984), and the Royal College of Physicians (Glasgow)(1990).

He has served on the National Medical Research Council for two terms in the 1990s, and is a reviewer for the Annals of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore.

His area of interests in haematology includes anemias, leukemias, bleeding disorders and clotting disorders.
