Dr. Philip Koh is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. He was formerly a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with the National Heart Centre.

He received his MBBS (1981) and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine)(1986) from the National University of Singapore. He is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Cardiology). Dr. Koh went to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (USA) for his Interventional Fellowship in 1990. He has been active in lecturing and proctoring fellow cardiologists in major cities in China, Taiwan and the Philippines.

Dr Koh’s special interest in Percutaneous Coronary Interventional Therapy covers the entire spectrum of coronary artery disease, inclusive of acute coronary syndrome to stable angina pectoris. He is highly conversant in the use of the numerous types of interventional devices i.e., various intra-coronary stents, rotablator, directional atherectomy cutter, distal protection devices, intra-vascular ultrasound probes and others.
