Dr. Chia Yee Tien is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre.

She received her MBBS (1985) and her Master of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)(1990) from the National University of Singapore. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (1994). She also has a Certificate of Specialist Registration from the Singapore Medical Council (1998). 

Dr. Chia was formerly a Lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, National University of Singapore, and a Senior Registrar at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, National University Hospital. 

She has authored many articles in local, regional and international peer-reviewed journals. She is also the author of a book chapter on “Postpartum care and family planning” and has given lectures and talks at seminars and conferences.

Dr. Chia has a special interest in the following areas:

• Coexisting Medical disorders in pregnancy,
• Prenatal diagnosis of congenital abnormalities through amniocentesis and ultrasonography,
• Gynaecological pelvic ultrasonography, and
• Gynaecological surgery
