Dr. Cheng Jun is a Consultant Internist & Gastroenterologist at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre and a Visiting Consultant (Department of Gastroenterology) at the Singapore General Hospital.

He received his MBBS from the University of Malaya in 1979 and MRCP (UK) in 1983. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (1987), the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh)(1993) and the Royal College of Physicians (London). Dr. Cheng is also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is a Master Endoscopist, specializing in ERCP and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr. Cheng also is a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons and was Censor of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He is the Past President of the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore, Past Vice-President of the World Organization of Gastroenterology, Board Member of the National Foundation of Digestive Diseases and past Chairman of the Chapter of Physicians, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
